Kelly Career Network (KCN) FAQs

Q: What is KCN?

  KCN, an online web-based system is designed by Kelly Services to manage job applications and partner you in your career growth. KCN combines all of these features in one easy-to-use platform:

·       Tracks all applicant information

·       Allows for updating of personal information

·       Resume uploading

·       Job search criteria setting

·       e-blast on current available jobs

·       Stores candidate resumes in database to permit effective searching, filtering, and routing of applicants

·       Tracks the flow of the application process

·       Provides 24/7 career resources and information for job seekers

Q: How to register in KCN?

Step 1: To register, click the following link à User? Register here.

Step 2: The KCN registration form will appear.

Step 3: Enter the requested personal details, tick the box to indicate you accept the Terms and Conditions, then click 'Submit'. Note: Mandatory fields are indicated by ‘*’ text e.g. First Name, Last Name etc

Step 4: Once you click 'Submit', your KCN account will be created immediately, and you will automatically be taken to the Homepage of your new account. From here, you can:

·       Job Search

·       Apply Jobs

·       Create Job Alerts

·       Edit Profile

·       Upload Resume/Documents

·       Edit Personal / Professional details

·       Reset Password

Q: Forgot your username?

Your username is the same as your registered email address. Your username will not be changeable.

Q: Forgot your password?

Click on Forgot Password to get a new password. On answering the security question, your new password will be sent via e-mail to your registered email address.

Q: Have keyed the correct username and password but still unable to login.

The username and password fields are case sensitive. Check that the 'Caps Lock' or 'A' light on the keyboard is not lit.

Q: How do I use KCN?

When you register yourself in KCN, a user account will be created for you. This is the interface where you will access and manage your account. The functional areas are:

Log In:

Log into KCN and manage your profile, apply for jobs or create job alerts.

Log Out:

At the end of each session, you should log out of the system to ensure that your personal information remains secure. This is particularly important if you are accessing your account on a shared/ public computer.

My Settings:

Manage your personal and professional details. It also allows you to upload your resume and/or accompanying documents in either words or pdf format. To save your time in completing all fields, our unique “Process Resume” feature will be able to capture uploaded resume contents. All you have to do is to complete missing fields.

My Profile:

Manage/ change password or change your security question.

My Clipboard:

My Applied Jobs:

Shows the list of previous jobs that you have applied for.

My Favorite Jobs:

Lists the jobs that the applicant has added as a favorite job.

My Job Alerts:

Manage the alerts you will receive via email, as well as the frequency (e.g. daily / weekly).

Search Jobs:

Applicant can perform 4 kinds of searches – Basic Search, Advanced Search, Search Jobs by Profile and Search All Jobs.

Q: What is the recommended system for running KCN?

For best performance, a PC running Windows 2000 and Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 is recommended. The display should be set to 1024x768 pixels.
